Cyber-Ark Expands Interoperability with HP ArcSight to Give Organizations Real-Time Privileged Account Monitoring and Compliance

Joint Capabilities Reduce Insider and External Security Threats, While Delivering Advanced, Actionable Forensics

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - HP Protect 2012, booth #162 - September 10, 2012 - Cyber-Ark® Software today announced achievement of the HP ArcSight Action Certification, which is expanded product interoperability with HP ArcSight that, when leveraged with Cyber-Ark, enables real-time privileged account monitoring and compliance for organizations.

The combination of Cyber-Ark’s privileged session management technologies and the HP ArcSight Security Intelligence platform allows customers to greatly reduce the risk of internal security breaches and external cyber-attacks, shorten forensics time when an incident occurs, and help meet compliance requirements for monitoring privileged activity and access control.

With this expanded interoperability, customers can now set up alerts on suspicious privileged activity, and monitor live sessions or view session recordings via the Cyber-Ark Privileged Session Management Suite from inside the HP ArcSight Console. More importantly, the solution gives customers the ability to respond to suspicious activity within a live session.

“Enabling users to take action - this is an important differentiator for this expanded interoperability from a risk management perspective,” said Richard Weeks, vice president, business and channel development, Cyber-Ark Software. “Rather than sifting through a list of logs, if users want to take a closer look at what’s happening across all target systems, databases and virtual servers, they can monitor the session in real-time for an in-context view of activities directly from the HP ArcSight Console. Users can then interact with the session or terminate it if necessary.”

Additional benefits of the broader Cyber-Ark interoperability with HP ArcSight include the ability to:
